This victorian style bedroom is dominated by the dark brown hues of the four poster bed that matches with the rest of the various furniture that almost crowds in the room. But what we re seeing of course isn t a re creation of victorian style but rather a reimagining of victorian interiors filtered through a modern. The victorian aesthetic has been thought of as fussy artificial and overdone in many ways the opposite of the bright natural hyper minimalism that has been the ruling style for so long. This is contrasted by the blue walls and ceiling that has a lovely chandelier hanging over the sitting area.
But this doesn t mean we can t modernize a kitchen while retaining some of the victorian influences. But in short modern victorian is a style that is a spin off of a very classic vibe done in a fresh new and relevant way.
